About Custom Wedding Invitations & Wedding Stationery

We will start from scratch and create an original design that is custom tailored just for you. From personalized monograms, custom illustrations, and watercolors, to paper stocks, layering, and custom shapes - we have many options to bring your wedding stationery vision to life! GETTING STARTED

Paper Tie Affair is an appointment-only design studio that serves clients throughout the Houston area and beyond. We offer appointments in our studio based in Sealy, Texas, or for your convenience, at a coffee shop in the Houston area.

THE PROCESS

1. Consultation: Our design process begins with a consultation either in person, by phone, video call or email - we can’t wait to hear about the details! We want to know what inspires you and your wedding style, what your dream stationery looks like and any other fun details. Visuals are always helpful so feel free to send swatches, inspirational examples and more! 
2. The Details: Once we receive your initial inquiry, we will put together an estimate based on the information you provide. A 50% non-refundable deposit and agreement to our terms and conditions are required to start the design process. A welcome guide and questionnaire will be sent by email to gather your wording details and any other specifics.
3. Design + Proofing: Once payment and wording is received, we will send PDF proofs of your order for your approval. For custom designs, we will send you 2-4 different design concepts based on your needs and keeping design & materials within your budgetary constraints. We offer unlimited proofs to ensure you love every bit of your suite. 
4. Approval + Production: You will receive a final proof for approval in your inbox. It is the client’s responsibility to review the proof for misspellings and any other mistakes or changes. Once approved, no additional changes can be made. An invoice for final payment will be sent to your email, which is due in order to begin printing and production. Once your order is printed, we look it over and make sure that it’s perfect, then package and ship it to your doorstep. Local customers are welcome pick up their order from our studio. 

INVESTMENT

Custom weddings are priced based on the complexity of the design, the printing process used, materials, turnaround, and any assembly labor involved. Generally, custom design fees begin at $200 including custom watercolor artwork, custom monograms, and more. Contact us for a personalized quote.
