Paper Tie Affair is a full-service design studio established in 2014 - we’ve been making beautiful paper ever since. Focused on creating unique and fresh designs for your every need – we provide custom and non-custom wedding invitations and other wedding items, baby and event stationery, everyday greetings and gifts, and small business branding and logo design.
We have an eye for detail, exceptional customer service, and a wide range of designs and products to provide high-quality, unique designs that fit each style and budget.
While we’re based just outside of Houston in Sealy, we work with clients from around the globe. Many of our products are produced in the Paper Tie Affair studio, which is stocked with color samples, paper swatches, and a growing portfolio of our client work, the perfect place for staying inspired.

McKenzie KingOwner + Creative Director Enamored by all things design, McKenzie has always had an eye for design and embracing her creativity. She was lucky to find her calling early in her career, after graduating from Sam Houston State University in Advertising & Graphic Design. She first worked as a designer for a Houston agency, then quickly ventured out to freelancing which allowed more creative freedom, allowing her to open Paper Tie Affair - the perfect place to employ her obsession of design. As the owner of Paper Tie Affair, she wears many hats - designing projects, managing every day duties, and making sure each and every client is well taken care of. She's also a wife to a loving husband, a mama of a girl and boy, and also a dog mom of two golden retrievers. |

Kylie McNuttLead Production Assistant You can call her the queen of packaging. Kylie is a natural for attention to detail and deeply cares about each and every customer. Kylie creates and packages orders with constant accuracy. Her hard work always shows while confirming quantities and checking quality to ensure every little detail is perfect. Kylie is a California native, and loves shopping for the latest fashion, cuddling with her dog and cats, and watching Judge Judy reruns. |

Tricia GillespieProduction Assistant A former Paper Tie Affair bride herself, Tricia has a love for weddings - especially those she gets to attend! Tricia assists with making your order absolutely perfect - from cutting, to creasing, to lining envelopes - she enjoys seeing the finished product of every order, making it absolutely perfect for you. When Tricia is not rocking it as our production assistant, you can find her fishing with her husband, taking her twin boy and girl out for play dates, or sipping a Dr. Pepper. |

Bentley & BellaDesign Assistants Meet the first ever assistants of the Paper Tie Affair Office - two golden Retrievers Bentley and Bella. You can usually find them greeting (by greeting we mean barking away) at the FedEx and UPS drivers, bringing by all of our deliveries. McKenzie's kiddos occasionally join in on the fun in the office, staying busy pestering the dogs. When they aren't busy making a ruckus in the office, you can find Bentley swimming away at the lake or chasing after raquet balls. Bella stays busy chasing the squirrels or making sure Bentley doesn't get any of the kisses.
