Here is the slightly updated Paper Tie Affair branding! While it is not totally different, it’s going to help my brand become more consistent and professional. You can see what our old logo and branding looked like here. As you may tell, there’s not a HUGE difference. Basically my variation logo now, used to be my main logo (with minor tweaks). And I finally have a long logo that also includes “Affair” just as big as “Paper Tie”. That’s probably the biggest difference. It was defintely needed when it came to packaging, and finally I just changed it! Another reason for this update…. We are doing weddings!! I needed that in my logo, I really did not have a tagline and you didn’t know what I did when you looked at the logo.
My colors are basically staying the same, but dropped the chalkboard and used a rich black. I think it looks nicer when printed, so that’s why I went that route. There will also be slight pinks (mainly in my social media), but needed some other color besides mint, black, and white. Not too many changes, we still look like the same company, just added a few things and dropped a few things. See below for the new logo and elements:
My website (and social media accounts) are by no means done, I’m slowly implementing them. The only thing I’ve completed is the packaging. I tend to do WAY to many things at a single time. I’ll be keeping this for a long long time, and stay tuned for what else is new to come!
I’ve been working on many new prints, cards, and other goodies for the shop, but also have been working on a new way to present and list all of my products. I have to say this hasn’t been an easy process, I’ve bounced around endless ideas, and finally decided on one.
I created my very own photography studio, (I’ll post a tutorial on the blog a little later!). I’ve been on the hunt for flowers, books, and fun decorations, now I have a pretty good collection of these items- I’m still tweaking a few things.
The other day, I finally started styling some newer products, and working on test shoots for the shop. I’ve revamped some of my Etsy listings, but of course found some additional things I’d like to add and will need to add those to the shop. Soon all of my products will be displayed in this new way, and I’m loving it! It sure takes some time, but I like being able to see these in an environment – I’ve been using a wood background, and glad I decided to make the switch to white. What do you think?
Valentina, at The Baking Fairy, came to me in need of a logo design and a header for her blog brand. She knew from the start she wanted a little cupcake in her logo, and from there the colors were chosen. I’m obsessing over the cuteness of this logo, it seriously fits Valentina’s personality PERFECT! It’s fun and girly, and of course topped with rainbow sprinkles. Be sure and look at the details of this little logo and element. See below for a look into the branding process from beginning to end.
