      Real Wedding: Lauren + Kyle

This romantic wedding at the Highlands Country Club, West Point - The U.S. Military Academy, is oh so romantic! We are loving the pops of gold and blush combined with lots of greenery and candles.

Lauren contacted us knowing she wanted blush paper and gold foil - and we made it happen! We created menus, place cards, and donation cards for her wedding. Can't get enough of this romantic day - congratulations to Lauren & Kyle!

5 Things to Include on RSVP Cards

5 Things to Include on RSVP Cards

Wedding response cards are an important part to your wedding invitation suite. They help determine final guest counts along with a few other things that can help make the wedding planning process a bit easier - giving you all of the information needed to accommodate them. Below you will find a list of the five things you can include on those RSVP cards.

      1. Name Line: This line allows you to know who the card is coming from. Common ways to write this are "M___________" or "Name(s)__________"
      2. Number Attending Line: This line gives you an accurate head count!
      3. Response Date: The date guests should have their responses back to you by. Check with your caterer or venue, they may have a specific date they need a final count - it's often four weeks before the wedding.
      4.  Song Request Line: This is a great place to add some fun, and allow the guests to be a part of the wedding. Let them fill in a favorite song to dance to!
      5.  Meal Selection: If you're having a seated dinner with different entree selections, you can add an area to the reply card allowing guests to indicate their desired meal.

A lovely bride contacted me about customizing this invitation for her upcoming wedding. When she inquired about adding gold foil to the invite, I couldn't wait to get started with the design! We didn't change much on the initial design from out collection, but what we did change was simply stunning! The invitations set the theme for the entire wedding day, which was filled with unique fuchsia and blue details.

The wedding took place in California, and was published on Wedding Chicks (click this link to read their post) earlier this month. The team of vendors did an amazing job pulling everything together and creating the perfect day!

A few months ago I worked with one of the sweetest brides on her invitations, and later she came back for day of items. I am pretty sure she loves foil even more than I do, so I was excited to begin her invitations! She used the house design located here, and didn't change too much as she wanted to keep everything simple and classic. It was such a sweet, classic, and girly suite in the end that resulted in a beautiful wedding!
